I will be updating the 67th Golden Globe Awards all night so keep refreshing!

I cant believe how beautiful Diane Kruger looks in this Christian Lacroix gown! The color and features on this dress are divine. The white bow and clutch makes this dress pop! Lovely…

The lilac chiffon Valentino gown Chloe Sevigny wore had me on the fence for a few minutes but I love it!

Halle Berry is getting better with age! She is wearing the heck out of this Kaufman Franco gown. I’m not even mad about the twins showing because she looks great in this dress!

Sandra Bullock looks divine in her violet strapless Bottega Veneta gown.

Nicole Kidman wore a peach satin Nina Ricci gown from the Spring 2010 collection.

Drew Barrymore looked gorgeous in her champagne Atelier Versace gown. The color looks great against her skin and she minimized her jewelry perfectly.

A pregnant Paula Patton wore an embellished black strapless gown by Kaufman Franco with Neil Lane jewelry and a Judith Leiber clutch.

I think this Herve Leger dress looks great on Mariah but the twins shouldn’t be shown at the Golden Globes..

This is the best I’ve ever seen Christina look. I love the way the peach Versace gown looks on her and I’m glad she decided to ditch the red lipstick. A+

Tina Fey wore a tiered Zac Posen dress which made her look very much like a little girl. She added a cute pair of Christian Louboutin Bow-T Dorcet pumps.

Anna Kendrick wore a one-shoulder Marchesa gown from the Spring 2010 collection.

January Jones wore a modified Lanvin Spring 2010 dress with a ruffled neckline. The actress added Brian Atwood heels to complete her look.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior Spring 2010.

Ginnifer Goodwin walked the Golden Globes red carpet in a cobalt blue Vionnet Spring 2010 dress.

Courtney Cox wore a long column gown with a jeweled belt from the Victoria Beckham collection.

Maria Menounos is ravishing in a red in a Romona Keveza gown from the Spring 2010 collection.

Julie Bowen wore a black gown with an embellished bodice by Georges Hobeika.

15th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Red Carpet

January 16th, 2010 jaimarie Posted in Abbie Cornish, Diane Kruger, Emily Blunt, Julianne Moore, Marion Cotillard, Zoe Saldana No Comments »

Zoe Saldana has been one of my favs on the red carpet for months. Wearing a Jason Wu Spring 2010 white organza dress she shines on the red carpet once again. She added a little contrast with the black belt and I adore her peep toes.

Marion Cotillard wore a stunning Christian Dior Spring 2010 bustier dress. While looking sexy, the embellished skirt adds a hint of glamour.

Emily Blunt wore a sequined Georges Chakra dress. She added a pair of fierce Diego Dolcini shoes and a Cecelia clutch to complete her look.

Julianne Moore wore a red Lanvin Spring 2010 dress to the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. For a minute I couldn’t tell this was a Lanvin dress because the peplum and shoulder ruffles don’t stand out quite as much as on the runway model.

Abbie Cornish played it safe wearing a black Elie Saab sheath dress that gathers at the shoulders. I would have loved to have seen here wear the necklace also. She added Bally sandals to complete her look.

Diana Kruger looked exquisite in her Donna Karan Spring 2010 gown. I love the draped cowl neck on this dress.

CFDA Awards Red Carpet

Diane Kruger wore a modified Jason Wu dress from his fall collection. I love the embroidered shoulders and I really like this dress in red. She added a clutch and black t-strap sandals.

cfda2

Molly Sims wore a Marilyn Monroe dress from the Fall Dolce & Gabbana 2009 collection. The dress is gorgeous but she’s missing the glamour.

cfda3

I love love love Kirsten Dunst’s shoes! I also love this Rodarte mini from the Fall 2009 collection but I don’t think I like them together.

cfda4

Blake Lively wore a fuschia strapless Michael Kors dress from his Fall 2009 collection. This is a very simple look but I love it. And the subtle detailing around the bust along with the pockets is very cute.

Even though she might look like she just left Cell Block D, I love love love this striped Armani Prive’ gown on Elsa Pataky. The back of it is the best part.

This is why I love Diana Kruger! She is always so polished. And what better brand to wear than Chanel Couture to achieve that effect. She could have worn anything from that collection and still looked great as it was mostly an all white collection with a few black pieces. Almost every runway look had dramatic shapes.

amfar4

Anna Mouglalis was very lucky to get her hands on a dress from the Chanel Cruise 2010 collection which only debuted last week but this look is wayyyyyyy too laid back. I love the dress though and I’m glad she didn’t wear the brooch or theĀ  tights.

amfar5

Michelle Yeoh looks great in this purple Fall 2008 Atelier Versace gown. A lot of these gowns are looking more dramatic in the back which I love.

amfar6

There is no way I could have worn this Jean Paul Gaultier Couture dress like Dita von Teese. I so would have have added a layer underneath…..and probably ruined the dress lol! I lover her confidence and she is working the heck out of this dress in a very classy way.

Last night Glamour celebrated its 70 year anniversary with an art show and dinner at Lehmann Maupin Gallery.

The celebrity that stood out to me was Diane Kruger who arrived wearing a mesh and silk colorblock Alexander Wang dress strapless from the Spring 2009 collection. She added sheer tights and pointy toe heels.

Fabulous.

You can buy this Alexander Wang combo dress at Barneys.com for $795.

Fall Trend Alert: Full Skirts

Ladies, right now feminine is in so why not go for the fun and flirty full skirt! With the volume on the bottom make sure you go slim on the top. Tuck in your blouse, throw on a cardigan or simple jacket. To create a balanced silhouette and to define your waist, use a belt or sash. Leg-elongating pumps or shoe-boots, or even neat ballet flats look great with these skirts. You can achieve the same look with a full skirted dress. Just make sure the waist is defined. This trend has been around for a while and it’s not going anywhere so choose prints that can stand the test of time, when in doubt, black or navy is always best.
