The host of the 2009 People’s choice awards, Queen Latifah, looked like royalty in her Georges Chakra purple gown. The chiffon dress was completed with a jeweled neckline.

Carrie Underwood wore a beautiful strapless Naeem Khan gown from the Pre fall 2009 collection. She kept her jewelry at a minimum and added a grey clutch.

Kate Hudson radiated on the red carpet in this Gucci Spring 2009 teal dress that had a palm tree print along the bodice. She was color coordinated with her Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Jennie Garth kept it sophisticated in a black sheath dress with a black clutch and black and white shoes.

Lori Loughlin wore asilver Gustavo Cadile dress with metallic sandals.

Samantha Harris wore an asymmetrical one shouldered David Meister white dress with silver strappy sandals.

Jewel wore an ivory and pink floral halter maxi dress

Malin Ackerman wore a Jay Godfrey Spring 2009 colorblock dress. She added a silver metal statement necklace and bangles with black sling backs.

I love the color of this dress against Chandra Wilson’s skin. She looks good.

Jennifer Morrison looks great in her silver and gold metallic dress. I love everything about this look.

Dakota Fanning wore a one shouldered blue dress by BCBG which was very structured. I can’t believe she has grown up so fast! She added blue peep toes to finish off her look.

Debra Messing opted to go the geometric route in a steel colored strapless Donna Karan dress. She added nude pumps and a matching clutch. I love it…

Olivia Wilde wore a white drop waist halter dress. She added gold cuffs and a white and gold Jimmy Choo clutch.

Marisa Tomei wore a red strapless Donna Karan dress. The statement necklace adds a nice touch as well as the nude Christian Louboutins.

AnnaLynne McCord ore a grey fitting dress with white strappy sandals.

Robin Tunney just said forget it…She wore a white and blue floral dress with brown shoes and brown clutch.

Jordin Sparks wore a strapless blue dress which was embellished around the midriff with a rose. She completed her look with a gold clutch and gold sandals.

Paris Hilton wore a cream colored dress with a plunging necklne. The dress was beaded with floral appliques. She added metallic shoes and a Fendi purse.

Teri Hatcher for once, looks stunning. She wore a black Givenchy Haute Couture dress accented with bows and added black Christian Louboutin pumps.

Selita Ebanks wore a grecian style dress with a jeweled neckline.

Tyra Banks wore a vintage Gucci dress with a belt cinched at the waist. She is working it! I see you smiling with your eyes Tyra!

Fergie, who is noticeably more plump in the chest, wore a goddess style Michael Kors gown.

Taylor Swift looks glamourous in her long black gown.

I loved this dress on Sarah Michelle Gellar but I would have preferred it with strappy sandals and not black gladiator heels and tights.

Nicole Kidman is gorgeous in her cream colored L’Wren Spring 2009 floor length gown.

Natalie Portman wore a black dress from the Jolibe Fall 2008 collection with black satin shoes adorned with a chiffon pom pom on the front. The shoes are from her vegan collection, te’casan.

Kate Bosworth can never go wrong on the red carpet. Loves her!

Debra Messing looks totally different wearing a black strapless and embellished Ralph Lauren Fall 2008 dress with feathers and tulle. I prefer her hair down.

America Ferrera looks so cute in this Oscar de la Renta pre-fall 2008 colorful dress.

Rachel Zoe has done a great job with Debra Messing. The leather straps at the top are unexpected but a nice surprise.on this Kaufman Franco gown.

Debra Messing is mesmerizing in her emerald green, dotted, Diane von Furstenberg strapless dress she wore to the Late Show. The dress, enhanced with  sweetheart neckline, looks great with her gold heels. Her hair compliments this dress very well, making this the perfect autumn look.

This Zac Posen Fall 2008 had to be made for Jada Pinkett Smith because she looks gorgeous. I love how she mixed the metals is her jewelry.

Eva Mendes looks very chic in her Bill Blass Fall 2008 dress and Dsquared² Fall 2008 shoes. I fell in love with these shoes because of the lightning bolt heel.

Maybe Candice Bergen really wanted to be different because she’s the only one in pants. Still classy though.

Debi Mazar’s strapless printed dress gave her a soft look.
I expected to see her in something a little edgier but she really pulled this off.
