For some reason Miley Cyrus in these adult gowns does not work for me. She wore a black asymmetrical Herve Leger Fall 2008 dress. The dress had a rose detail on the shoulder and she had it embellished with jewels.

Leona Lewis decided to go for the nude trend in this Randi Rahm halter dress. I love the dress but I’m not sure it was a great choice for her.

Carrie Underwood opted to wear a gold sequined embellished dress by Zuhair Murad with gold earrings and a gold cluth. I really like the scooped neckline on this dress.

Audrina Patridge, who is no stranger to strapless dresses, wore a teal Jersey gown from the Tadashi Spring 2009 collection. I like the patent belt and the clutch. The shoes…not so much.

Kim Kardashian wore a strapless silver colored Toni Maticevski Spring 2009 dress and Christian Louboutin silver Fortuna Slingbacks. The organza detailing on this dress is gorgeous.

Jennifer Hudson is making quite a comeback. Tonight she won her first Grammy and made an appearance with her fiance David Otunga while looking fabulous. the singer wore an RM by Roland Mouret Trenet high neck dress with blue Louboutins. This is origami at its best. You can purchase the dress at Net-A-Porter for $2,295.

Gwyneth Paltrow didn’t walk the red carpet but she posed for pics backstage wearing a silver and gold sequined minidress from the Versace Spring 2009 collection. She added tights which I think she should have ditched and sandals. I really really love the dress.

OMG Paris just doesn’t get it! While I will admit she does look a little better than the model in this Versace Spring 2003 dress it’s still not a Grammay Awards dress. She could have worn this to a club with some strappy sandals. Personally I would have added some skinny jeans, that’s just how short it is.

The host of the 2009 People’s choice awards, Queen Latifah, looked like royalty in her Georges Chakra purple gown. The chiffon dress was completed with a jeweled neckline.

Carrie Underwood wore a beautiful strapless Naeem Khan gown from the Pre fall 2009 collection. She kept her jewelry at a minimum and added a grey clutch.

Kate Hudson radiated on the red carpet in this Gucci Spring 2009 teal dress that had a palm tree print along the bodice. She was color coordinated with her Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Jennie Garth kept it sophisticated in a black sheath dress with a black clutch and black and white shoes.

Lori Loughlin wore asilver Gustavo Cadile dress with metallic sandals.

Samantha Harris wore an asymmetrical one shouldered David Meister white dress with silver strappy sandals.

Malin Ackerman wore a Jay Godfrey Spring 2009 colorblock dress. She added a silver metal statement necklace and bangles with black sling backs.

I love the color of this dress against Chandra Wilson’s skin. She looks good.

Jennifer Morrison looks great in her silver and gold metallic dress. I love everything about this look.

Dakota Fanning wore a one shouldered blue dress by BCBG which was very structured. I can’t believe she has grown up so fast! She added blue peep toes to finish off her look.

Debra Messing opted to go the geometric route in a steel colored strapless Donna Karan dress. She added nude pumps and a matching clutch. I love it…

Olivia Wilde wore a white drop waist halter dress. She added gold cuffs and a white and gold Jimmy Choo clutch.

Marisa Tomei wore a red strapless Donna Karan dress. The statement necklace adds a nice touch as well as the nude Christian Louboutins.

AnnaLynne McCord ore a grey fitting dress with white strappy sandals.

Robin Tunney just said forget it…She wore a white and blue floral dress with brown shoes and brown clutch.

Jordin Sparks wore a strapless blue dress which was embellished around the midriff with a rose. She completed her look with a gold clutch and gold sandals.

Paris Hilton wore a cream colored dress with a plunging necklne. The dress was beaded with floral appliques. She added metallic shoes and a Fendi purse.

Teri Hatcher for once, looks stunning. She wore a black Givenchy Haute Couture dress accented with bows and added black Christian Louboutin pumps.

Shania Twain, who has been MIA for years graced the Country Music Awards red carpet still looking beautiful in a black strapless dress with a full skirt.

Reba McEntire, who never ages, wore a long black velvet gown with drop earrings.

Jennifer Nettles wore a white Temperley London gown with black beaded trim.

Julianne Hough wore a hot pink one shoulder Angel Sanchez Resort 2009 column gown.

I almost didnt recognize Kellie Pickler who wore a figure hugging, silver, beaded gown by Zuhair Murad Spring 2008 collection.

Diana Degarmo owned the red carpet with her bubbly personality wearing a sparkling black halter dress with chiffon ruffles.

Carrie Underwood, who hosted the show wore a canary yellow chiffon halter gown by Roberto Cavalli.

This is a great look for Miley Cyrus who wore a ivory printed gown by Roberto Cavalli.

Taylor Swift wore a gown by Kaufmann Franko, which was adorned with sequins and crystals.

Jewel looked stunning in her navy jersey Roberto Cavalli halter gown. She accessorized with gold. Loves it!

Reese Witherspoon was clearly a front runner of the night. She looked absolutely fabulous in her black lace Marchesa Spring 2009 gown.

Nicole Kidman wore a black Jill Sanders draped dress with pointed black flats.
