Mobile Fashion…Fabulous iPhone Apps.
I ♥ the iPhone!
I cannot get through my day without it. I’m constantly making calls, updating my blog, playing games, texting, checking my calendar, taking notes, getting directions, taking pics…….ok, you get it. But seriously, someone among the fashion gods decided that fashion applications should be added to the iPhone.
For all you Fashionistas, I present to you….*drumroll*…. the best fashion apps to download:
Style.com
(free)

The online home of Vogue, Style.com, is an application that allows us to watch runway shows from Fashion Week hours after the last show. This is a must have for fashion enthusiasts and bloggers. It features up-to-the-minute updates, the Style File Blog, pictures and videos from every major collection including Couture.

Chanel
(free)
The Chanel application contains video from the latest shows, pictures of individual looks as well as details and accessories and a link to the latest news. Yes, you can view the Chanel collection on the Style.com app but if you want to see the shoes, the earrings or the fierce handbags, you want this app.

Ralph Lauren
(free)

The Ralph Lauren application allows you to watch video highlights from the Fall 2008 runway show or view the styles in stores. There is also an insider’s look at what goes on behind the scenes during the fashion shows. There is a store locator and a short film that gives you a glimpse of the designer’s work.

Checkout Smartshop
($4.99)

Checkout Smartshop is an application that helps you find prices, information and reviews for products. Your $5 is already well spent. All you do is enter the UPC code and reviews of the product start to pop up. You need to know if there are any bad reviews on the product you’re purchasing right? If you want to go beyond reviews, it’ll show you local and online prices. If you want to purchase the item, you can ask Smartshop to look for local stores that are nearby. They are working on a camera scanner to scan the UPC codes. Genius.

On Sale
($0.99)

Have you ever been in the store trying to figure out the sale price on clothes you’re trying to purchase and the price you come up with is always wrong. Well, the On Sale app will fix that for you! Just enter in the price, percentage off and tax and you’re good to go. You’ll know before you get to the register how much your items cost and if you have enough money to purchase more. Use in conjunction with the calculator on your iPhone and you can’t go wrong.
